Request for Expression of Interest
Event Management of APQN 2011 Conference to be held at NAAC, Bangalore.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is the premier Quality Assurance organisation of India established by the University Grants Commission as an autonomous institution. The NAAC is the active member of Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN), which is one of the important Quality Assurance Network in higher education. The APQN serves the needs of Quality Assurance agencies in higher education in a region that contains over half of the world population. APQN conference is the prime event which brings together over 400 experts from more than 100 countries annually to exchange advances in Quality Assurance in higher education. So far APQN annual conferences have been held at cities like Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and 2010 APQN is being held at Bangkok.
NAAC has won the bid to host Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) conference and AGM 2011 to be held at Bangalore in March 2011.Conference would attract participation of about 400-500 experts from all over the world. Keeping in mind the magnitude of work and higher level of specialisation required to manage this event, NAAC needs to avail services of professional event management firm. NAAC had decided to invite expression of interest from the experienced firms/organisations in this regard.
The interested firms /organisations are invited to submit expression of interest narrating the past experience, track records, services and facilities available and tentative budget for managing the proposed APQN conference including the specific mention of rates for services.
